Friends of Orphans helps to provide clean and safe water to the impoverished families in northern Uganda to help tackle water borne diseases and water crisis during dry seasons. With safe and clean water, communities can begin to lift themselves out of poverty and build brighter futures. Lack of clean water and sanitation holds back development and makes it harder for communities to escape the poverty surrounding.
Water is essential and water is life. Many people still do not have access to clean and safe water in remote and poor communities in Northern Uganda. The women, children and the elderly suffer the most from the water crisis.
