Friends of Orphans has been accredited by NGO source’s Equivalency Determination (ED) as equivalent to a US public charity organization, 501 (C) (3). The NGO source’s Equivalency Determination (ED) completed their analysis and was able to certify Friends of Orphans as equivalent to a Certified Public Charity organization in the US. The certificate is currently running till December 2024 after which will be renewable on request. 

The condition of people living and dying due to poverty and HIV/AIDS in northern Uganda is so desperate that even the most basic help will bring solace and hope.
